Betty Dodson, founder of the sex-positive movement, has been censored her whole life. For the past half a decade, Betty has chosen to champion for female pleasure in the most nontraditional ways – through hands-on sex-coaching and group masturbation workshops. In the short film "The Mother of Masturbation," feminist legends such as Gloria Steinem and Eve Ensler, along with Betty herself, explore how Betty's unapologetically blunt approach have often led to her ostracism rather than her celebration.
